When we first laid the foundation of Kyodai Academy in Siliguri in 2022, we carried with us a bold vision—to become a trusted gateway for Indian youth to access life-changing opportunities in Japan through language proficiency and skills training. But like every meaningful journey, the beginning came with its fair share of challenges.
In the early days, convincing people from Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Sikkim that Japan was actively seeking qualified and skilled workers was not easy. The concept of attending a Japanese language school as a necessary path toward international job placement was unfamiliar—and often met with skepticism. For nearly a year, we worked with quiet determination, reaching out to students, parents, and communities—planting the seeds of awareness and trust.
Gradually, the landscape began to change.
As word began to spread and a few pioneering Japanese companies entered the region with similar models of language training and cultural orientation, people started to understand the power of preparation and the promise of Japan. Slowly but surely, our classrooms began to fill—not just with students, but with hope, ambition, and belief.
Today, Kyodai Academy stands as one of the premier institutions in West Bengal for Japanese Language Education, Job-Oriented Skill Training, and Placement Support in Japan. Our academy has served over 200 students across three years, many of whom are now on their professional journeys in Japan—living proof of what’s possible with guidance, preparation, and perseverance.
We specialize in training students for JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and NAT Exams, while also offering holistic programs that prepare learners for Japanese work culture, interview skills, and life abroad. Our strong affiliations with trusted Japanese placement partners like HIBIKU, REVIEW, ICA, and KUAS have made Kyodai Academy a well-respected name in the Indo-Japanese education and employment ecosystem.
